Chodzjand, Tadzjikistan

Juyand is de op een na grootste stad van Tadzjikistan, dicht bij de grenzen van Oezbekistan en Kirgizië. Tijdens de Sovjet-Unie stond het van 1936 tot 1991 bekend als Leninabad. Het ligt ten zuiden van de Syr Darja-rivier, bij de ingang van de Fergana-vallei. Het is de hoofdstad van de provincie Soëgd.
