The hotel is situated just after the Faidherbe Bridge, in the heart of Saint Louis Island which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Guests will find the centre of Saint Louis, a museum and the Senegal River on the hotel doorstep. It is 5 km to the beach 20 km to Langue de Barbarie Park and 80 km to Djoudj Park. Dakar Airport is 270 km away. This hotel is housed in a building dating back to 1850 and renovated in 2009. It is fitted out in pure Colonial style and was the stopping place of the famous airmail pilot Jean Mermoz. It is perfectly adapted to modern standards yet retains its particular charm. This historical city hotel offers guests an unforgettable stay and comprises a total of 40 rooms including 1 suite. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange facility, a bar and a breakfast room. Guests can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (the latter for an additional fee) and there is parking available for those arriving by car. All rooms come with a shower and offer a double bed. They are equipped with satellite/cable TV, WLAN Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning. This hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. Moreover, there are sun loungers and parasols for hire on the sandy beach. The hotel restaurant, Flamingo, is set on the banks of the Senegal River and enjoys fantastic views of the famous Faidherbe Bridge. Guests arriving from Saint Louis Airport should take the National Highway towards Saint Louis till the Faidherbe Bridge. Cross the bridge to go to Saint Louis Island and just after the bridge the hotel is on the right.

Excellent comfortable and in a great location

This hotel is by far one of the most comfortable, clean and spacious hotels i have stayed in. Located in the heart of st louis island, the receptionist Aja was incredibly kind and frriendly, she helped me arrange transportation to my demdik back to dakar, thank you so much for an incredible stay. If you are visiting st louis i highly recommend this hotel Yasmin

Fabulous location. Room AC was great. Best shower I’ve had at a hotel in Senegal. Bed and pillows were comfy. Room was clean and had all necessities. Bar staff could use more customer service training

They had to change me rooms several times, #1, the electricity was not working, #2 was way too small (I had paid for an upgrade) and barely any water, #3 was decent, yet door was difficult to lock. Even though the property is quaint, it's really run down, breakfast is bad (don't waste the 6000cfa for it). The worse part of it all is lack of security. I never felt safe. The night before i left, I noticed my car was damaged significantly, through no fault of the guard (per him). I have never had an accident nor has anyone hit me while here in Senegal, yet the guard insisted I was a liar and that nothing happened to my car and that I arrived with this (a lie of course, it was at the garage for routine maintenance 5 hours before I arrived). My car will take a lot of money to fix, but this hotel refused to do anything, instead, insisted I was a liar, I was yelled at and I was told I could afford it. This was the worse stay I ever had. Stay clear of this place!!

Good hotel

This is a nice hotel and the best option if you want access to a pool in SL. The pool was closed when we were there…I would have stayed at Siki (where I have been many times in the past) if I had known. All of the staff were kind of lovely. The hotel is tired but has a fascinating history and a nice interior courtyard. The location is convenient but also a target for dudes trying to sell you stuff.

سنت لوئیس (سنگال), سنگال

سنت-لوئیس یک شهر در ساحل شمال غربی سنگال است. این شهر به معماری استعماری خود شهرت دارد. شهر قدیمی بر روی جزیره N'Dar واقع شده است که در رودخانه سنگال قرار دارد. این جزیره از طریق پل فیدهرب به سرزمین اصلی متصل است که تا سال 1865 برگشته و توسط گوستاو ایفل طراحی شده است. مکان فیدهرب ساختمان هایی در وضعیت خوب دارد، مانند کاخ حاکم و یک کلیسای نئوکلاسیک. موزه CRDS نمایشگاهی از اشیاء تاریخی و آثار هنری است. در نزدیکی، شبه جزیره طولانی و شنی Langue de Barbarie، روستای ماهیگیری Guet N'Dar را پناه می دهد، جایی که ماهیگیران از قایق های سنتی به نام pirogues استفاده می کنند. به سمت جنوب، سواحل شنی Hydrobase قرار دارند. نوک جنوبی شبه جزیره بخشی از پارک ملی Langue de Barbarie است، معروف به گونه های متنوع پرندگان. به شمال شرقی سنت-لوئیس، تالاب های پناهگاه ملی پرندگان Djoudj پرندگان مهاجر را جذب می کند، مانند حواصیل سلطنتی و قاشق داران آفریقایی، همچنین فلامینگوها، تمساح ها و ماناتی ها.
