Super séjour à l’hôtel de la poste de saint Louis
Très bon séjour à l’hôtel de la poste. Personnel accueillant sympathique et toujours à l’écoute. Très bon emplacement proche du centre à côté du syndicat d’initiatives ce qui permet d’aller facilement aux diverses excursions proposées. Distributeur de billets à côté de l’hôtel

The hotel was overbooked and the way the manager handled their overbooking problem was a disaster & unbelievable! We booked & paid 3 nights by VISA via Expedia a day before. When we arrived, the receptionist said she couldn’t find our booking from a pale of booking papers & the hotel was full. She called the manager. During the phone call the manager told us we could only stay 1 night but had to check out the next day because it was full on the second night. The manager did not mention anything about refund for 2 nights/ solution/ apology. We were shocked. We said we could stay 1 night and look for another hotel the next day, but the hotel must refund 2 nights to us, as we had paid everything already. After the manager arrived in the hotel, she said we had to contact Expedia for the 2 nights refund on our own without mentioning how or providing any proof so we could submit to Expedia. The manager even said it was OUR problem and Expedia was OUR agent. I was shocked by her reply and attitude. I said Expedia is the hotel’s business partner and the hotel must refund the cost of 2 nights on the spot! In the end, she erased the reservation of another guest on a piece of big paper which carried all the room numbers & guest names, and then she wrote my name by pen next to a room number on that booking paper. She ‘solved’ the overbooking problem by sacrificing another guest, which surprised us. Finally we checked in after struggling for more than 1-hour 15mins.

Excellent comfortable and in a great location
This hotel is by far one of the most comfortable, clean and spacious hotels i have stayed in. Located in the heart of st louis island, the receptionist Aja was incredibly kind and frriendly, she helped me arrange transportation to my demdik back to dakar, thank you so much for an incredible stay. If you are visiting st louis i highly recommend this hotel Yasmin

Saint-Louis es una localidad de la costa noroeste de Senegal. Es conocida por su arquitectura colonial. El casco antiguo está en la isla de N'Dar, situada en el río Senegal. Esta isla está unida al continente por el puente Faidherbe, que data de 1865 y fue diseñado por Gustave Eiffel. Place Faidherbe tiene edificios en buen estado de conservación, como el Palacio del Gobernador y una catedral neoclásica. El Musée du CRDS expone artefactos históricos y obras de arte. Cerca de allí, la larga y arenosa península Langue de Barbarie alberga el pueblo pesquero de Guet N'Dar, donde los pescadores utilizan canoas tradicionales, llamadas pirogues. Al sur se encuentran las playas de arena de Hydrobase. El extremo sur de la península forma parte del parque nacional Langue de Barbarie, famoso por sus diversas especies de aves. Al nordeste de Saint-Louis, los humedales del santuario nacional de aves del Djoudj atraen a aves migratorias, como garzas imperiales y espátulas africanas, además de a flamencos, cocodrilos y manatíes.
