Delphes, Grèce

Delphi, ancienne ville et siège du plus important temple grec et de l'oracle d'Apollon. Il se trouvait sur le territoire de Phocis sur la pente abrupte du mont Parnasse, à environ 10 km du golfe de Corinthe. Delphi est maintenant un site archéologique majeur avec des ruines bien préservées. Il a été désigné site du patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO en 1987. Delphes étaient considérées par les Grecs de l'Antiquité comme le centre du monde.
