The hotel is not soundproof at all. The noise of the traffic and constant beeping along with the noises coming from the hallway and surrounding rooms kept us awake a lot of the time. It’s also a bit old and outdated. The food in the buffet was cold a lot of the time and not a lot of options for westerners who might feel like something closer to home every now and then. Massages were ok. I didn’t like it but my husband and other family I was travelling with liked it. The spa looked really dirty and uninviting so we gave it a miss. I wouldn’t call the “gym” a gym. It was 4 pieces of cardio equipment just lined up next to each other in a really cramped space. The bed was spacious, a little bit hard but relatively comfortable and the rooms are a decent size. It was hard to shower in our room though as the attachment for the shower head did not tilt or swivel so if you didn’t hold it in your hand you would just get the water spray constantly in your face. The doorbells to the rooms often just go off without anyone actually ringing them. This happened mostly in my in laws room which was right next to ours. Randomly their doorbell would just ring several times throughout the day and night but no one was ever at the door. This was a bit creepy. I wasn’t able to sit at the bar downstairs and have a drink unfortunately as it was a free for all smoking area, which I’m not a fan of. The smell would drive me crazy. All staff were very friendly and super helpful which was a plus!

Dans la zone centrale, que les habitants appellent encore affectueusement Saigon, vous trouverez certaines des principales attractions de la ville, telles que l'opéra, la gare, la cathédrale Notre-Dame, le palais de la Réunification, la rivière Saigon et les marchés. Pour faire une pause dans la ville, vous pouvez faire une excursion dans le delta du Mékong ou à Da Lat, si vous avez plus de temps. Da Lat, situé dans les hautes terres à environ 300 km de la ville, vaut le détour, car il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire, y compris des cascades, des jardins, le vieux quartier français et les restaurants locaux qui servent une magnifique cuisine locale. Le centre commercial et financier du Vietnam est une métropole tentaculaire et intéressante qui fait de son mieux pour préserver le mode de vie et la culture de ce magnifique comté.
