This resort is located in Ein Bokek, a town on the west side of the Dead Sea. Jerusalem is approximately 123 km from the hotel and Tel Aviv is around 161 km away. The residence is the perfect choice for guests who want to enjoy a peaceful stay in the beautiful Dead Sea area. In the hotel's well-tended grounds guests will find a Bedouin tent where they can listen to pleasant oriental music while enjoying a drink or a traditional snack. Each of the standard guestrooms offers a balcony, and contains a TV, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en-suite bathroom. Important to know that the Entrance to the Hotel Spa is from ages 16 and upward. Noticeably less expensive than other options locally, this was a really good choice and excellent value for money. A reasonably short walk to the beach, good (if expensive) shopping and restaurants. I got a corner room with a decent sea view (it is set back further than some of the other options) which was a decent size, had nice toiletries, a good TV and (a very) small but perfectly formed balcony. My rate was half board, with both meals being in the "adequate" envelope. Masada Cable Car is maybe 15 mins away, if you are coming from the north via the inland road allow time to stop at one of the lookout points for the breathtaking view. Again, a good option if you are visiting the area on a budget.

I have been to Israel 7 times although I visited the dead sea each time I have never stayed there. Being the first time staying at the dead sea for 2 nights my thoughts staying at the Leonardo inn hotel was that the customer service was friendly and helpful, there was ample place to park the car I had hired which was convenient. Food that was cooked in the hotel was delicious,overall a good location and great value for money.
