Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t indicate that they did not have ac despite it being a 4 star hotel. Under normal circumstances it would it be fine, but due to a heat wave, it was unbearable. We had to leave. Other than that blip, it was a charming hotel with lots of character (we had suite 2 and it was adorable)!

Great location & off the beaten path but still close to everything. Staff was helpful & friendly. The building is 800 years old. We were there during a heat wave & it was uncomfortably warm sleeping. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to know.

Rooms and bathrooms are in need of renovation and look tired. We were not offered any VIP upgrades. Breakfast was fine. Th The place is historic, but the rooms and bathrooms are in need of renovation and look tired. The hotel is in the heart of the action and within walking distance to major attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
