This charming hotel is situated in the centre of Lovran. It is located by the sea on the coastal promenade called Lungo Mare. From one side hidden by greenery, from the other side completely open to the sea, this hotel is characterised by rich elegance and the discreet luxury of its facilities. As the clear water of the swimming pool reflects shimmering lights by night, it becomes obvious why the hotel has been thusly named. This charming hotel has 177 rooms and guests are welcomed in a lobby with a 24-hour reception service. The premises are air-conditioned and facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors. There is a café, bar, disco and a restaurant on the premises. Conference facilities are available to business travellers and WLAN Internet access is provided (for a fee). Guests can take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services, as well as park their vehicles in the car park or garage (fees apply to all of these services). The hotel offers comfortably appointed rooms with balconies. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and a hairdryer. Amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe and a minibar. Air conditioning and central heating are standard features in all accommodation. Guests can take a dip in any of the hotel's 3 swimming pools, including 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool. One of the pools is a saltwater pool. There is also a children's swimming area provided. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out on the sun terrace (fees apply). Guests can join in an aqua fit session, use the sauna (fees apply) or relax in the steam room. Sports on offer include badminton and table tennis. Furthermore, the hotel organises entertainment programmes for adults and children. Sun loungers and parasols may be hired on the beach.

Clean and comfortable on the banks of the sea

STAFF The service is impeccable, attentive and extremely friendly. Nothing is a problem, everything easily and promptly sorted. ROOM Comfortable beds. We had a large one with dining area, two bathrooms, large balcony and amazing closet space. Coffee machine and pods offered. Frigobar. CONDITIONS Very clean. It is not new and has been given a very good makeover in the paintwork and decoration, but signs of age are noticeable in the bathroom facilities, broken hydro massage shower, and details in the 70s decoration around the building. LOCATION Sea front, our room had a wonderful view. Hotel has its own beach with access via several steps. 5 minutes walk from the center of the village, with restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. 10 minutes walk from a supermarket. The hotel is on the cliff, and has step free access to a beautiful oceanfront promenade. PRIVATE BEACH On the edge of the Adriatic, then cement and stones. Large number of sun beds and umbrellas. They have a small shallow beach and a large space reserved for diving directly from the edge. Lots of fish, very peaceful to float on inflatable toys. The hotel offers space to store floating toys, SUPs, etc. FOOD The buffet has mild variety, but like all buffet systems, nothing is as delicious or as good as an a la carte. But the price including dinner was an excellent value. Drinks are delicious. SPA The spa looks fantastic, spacious, airy, a giant heated pool, spacious sauna (swimming costume not allowed).
