David officially San José de David is a city located in the west of Panama. It is the capital of the province of Chiriquí. The Pan-American Highway is a popular route to David. The city is currently the economic center of the Chiriqui province. Known for being the third-largest city in the country, the largest city in Western Panama. David is one the country's best and most beautiful cities, and it is able to offer some interesting things to do. Since it is such an important travel hub, it has been doing a lot of growing up in recent years, especially as Panama tourism begins to find itself on the world radar.
