About the destination

Tianjin is a metropolis in northern China and one of the five national central cities of China. Adjacent to Beijing, Tianjin is the largest harbor city in northern China. It was once the colony of many western counties in the 19th century. There are lots of European style buildings in the Five Great Avenues and the Italian Style Street. Besides, a lot of international cruise ships berth at Tianjin Xin'gang Port, which brings more popularity to this city. With a mixture of domestic and exotic styles, there are lots of things to see and do. Tianjin is not a popular tourist city, and its attractions are not well known. However, we still list seven places below for your visit, and most of them are historic sites, such as Dabie Buddhist Temple, Huangyagaun Pass, and Tianjin Old City. Today, Tianjin has become a unique city featuring a combination of Chinese culture, western culture, ancient elements, and modern elements. One of its most popular tourist attractions is the Porcelain House (or China House) is a priceless building decorated with about 4,000 pieces of ancient porcelain, 400 pieces of jade stone carving, 20 tons of crystal and agate and million pieces of ancient Chinese ceramic chips.
