My husband and I had a fabulous night at Daltons on Banana Island! The boat that ferried us across was complimentary and while the waters were choppy, we felt perfectly safe. Dress appropriately as your clothing will likely get wet! Daltons is rustic and simple. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. The meals were simple but tasty. We took a tour of the Island and learned about the Portuguese and British use of the Island as a slaves holding station prior to the middle passage. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Daltons and will go again, when are travels take us to Salone. Thank you!

Hidden gem
Peaceful beautiful place to stay. Friendly and attentive staff, a great respite from the bustle of Freetown. Well with the trip. We snorkeled , swam, and paddle boarded.
