Jedes Jahr im Oktober findet die religiöse Tradition des Círio de Nazaré in Belém statt, die größte Manifestation des katholischen Glaubens der Welt, wo zwei Millionen Menschen in Prozessionen durch die Straßen ziehen, um ein mehr als fünfstündiges Spektakel zu erleben.
