Very disappointing

We were very excited about our stay in this hotel because the pictures looked beautiful but once we arrived the actual hotel wasn’t quite like the pictures showed. The entrance is in the back of a small dark alley which meant that the balcony of our ‘Junior Suite’ looked directly into the apartments of the people living opposite giving no privacy at all so we had to keep our drapes closed the entire time. The rooms were noisy due to the very thin walls and the overall finish left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was mediocre, not a lot of choice for those who do not want an Asian breakfast. The hotel itself was clean and within a 10-minutes walk of the major attractions but it definitely didn’t live up to the 4 stars it claims to be. And when we told the staff about our experience and how we believed the pictures (that are actually drawings) didn’t accurately represent the hotel we were asked not to put a review online! For us it was a quite disappointing stay and were glad to move on
