Malabo, Äquatorialguinea

Malabo ist die Hauptstadt von Äquatorialguinea und die Provinz Bioko Norte. Es liegt an der Nordküste der Insel Bioko-Insel, die früher von den Bubis, ihren Ureinwohnern wie Etulá und Fernando Poo von den Europäern, bekannt war. Die offiziellen Sprachen der Stadt sowie des ganzen Landes sind Spanisch (die Hauptsprache und praktisch die einzige, die verwendet wird), Französisch und Portugiesisch. Malabo ist die älteste Stadt in Äquatorialguinea. Aus diesem Grund kann man viele Gebäude mit kolonialer Architektur sehen, die gleichzeitig mit modernen Gebäuden koexistieren, die in der letzten und jüngsten Phase nach der Unabhängigkeit gebaut wurden.
