Near fantastic public transport links (safe, reliable, quick, regular), but this hostel is one of the best I've stayed in (and I stayed in a dorm room!). Our room was next door to a toilet - you wouldn't know it! So quiet: absolutely no sounds from corridor or next door. And, so very safe - reception staff were friendly, welcoming and professional from the first moment, and all staff I interacted with were so personable, obviously (and understandably) proud of STF Stigbergsliden. Excellent kitchen, dining room, and courtyard facilities. Can't wait to stay again! Tack så mycket, team at Stigbergsliden <3

Would definitely stay again good value for money

Really lovely hostel, very modern. Has kitchen which was great. Nice communal areas including garden. Good location, 2 mins from tram stop and easy to walk into city centre. Only downside was I didn't receive the info for late check in instructions as there was a delay, but there is a phone number to call and I was luckily enough that someone was still in reception. Have to rent towel for a small fee and the doors automatically close meaning they banged shut

Poseidon rules the city, the gigantic bronze sea god statue bares his muscles in the middle of Gotaplatsen, the city’s art centre, but his domain extends far beyond. The neo-classical building is located at Vastra Hamngatan in the middle of the city centre. Gothenburg is not at all an industrial city as such but more a logistic centre. No grim environments or tall chimneys at all. Instead you have a huge amount of green areas, archipelago and loads of sport and culture. The bustle of crowds, the cosmopolitan restaurants, the cafes along the popular Avery, and the nearby western cost of Sweden make this city a humming one.
